Welcome to Crazy Eddy Electronics Repair. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and repair facilities located in Uniondale and Hempstead, NY.

By accessing our website, using our services, or visiting our physical locations, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access our website or use our services.

Repair Services

Service Agreement

When you submit a device for repair, you are entering into a service agreement with Crazy Eddy Electronics Repair. You authorize us to perform diagnostic and repair services on your device.

Diagnostic Fee

We may charge a diagnostic fee to assess your device's issues. This fee may be waived if you proceed with the recommended repairs. The diagnostic fee is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with repairs.

Repair Estimates

We will provide you with a repair estimate before beginning any work. The final cost may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will notify you and obtain your approval before proceeding with any additional repairs that would increase the cost.

Turnaround Time

While we strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible, repair times may vary based on the complexity of the issue, parts availability, and current workload. Any estimated completion times are approximations and not guarantees.

Parts and Labor

We use new, used, or refurbished parts at our discretion unless otherwise specified. All parts and labor are covered by our warranty as described below.

Warranty

Crazy Eddy Electronics Repair provides a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for most repairs. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
• Water or liquid damage (even if the original repair was for water damage)
• Software issues unrelated to the hardware repair
• Issues unrelated to the original repair
• Normal wear and tear

To claim warranty service, you must present your original repair receipt and the device must not show signs of tampering or damage.

Data and Privacy

We recommend that you back up all data before submitting your device for repair. Crazy Eddy Electronics Repair is not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during the repair process.

We respect your privacy and will not access your personal data unless necessary for testing the device's functionality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your personal information.

Device Abandonment

Devices left unclaimed for more than 30 days after we notify you that the repair is complete will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to charge storage fees or dispose of abandoned devices according to applicable laws.

Payment

Payment is due in full upon completion of repairs before the device is returned. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and debit cards.

For certain repairs, we may require a deposit before ordering parts or beginning work. This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel the repair after parts have been ordered.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crazy Eddy Electronics Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any repairs performed on your device
• Unauthorized access to or use of your device
• Data loss or data breaches
• Delays in completing repairs

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific repair service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Crazy Eddy Electronics Repair, its employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Nassau County, New York.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.
